Wiehenburg Sampler Contest 2010 - HD

Finally got the letters stitched onto this tonight to my liking, so I've just uploaded the photos. The colour is quite different where the flash was used against the no flash picture so I've put both up.

The design was stitched on 32ct Black Belfast linen using Kaalund yarns silk thread in Silky Oak & Guava colurs, 1 skein of each. I'm really very pleased with the way this has come out. The initials stand for Beaupippin Retrievers, the kennel name of my goldies that I show & breed.

  1. Congrats on this beautiful finish! Which colour is the most real? I prefer the golden one because this are my favorite colours.

  2. Your contest piece is beautiful. I did one butterfly and one flower then got side tracked. I love the fiber you used.

  4. The original piece is between the two in colour,The rose is like the top one but the gold is more golden than the top, more like the bottom. Its just strange how the colours change under the flash.I'm really pleased with the finish though.
